The earthquake of November 23, 1980 erased the ancient center of San Michele di Serino. The community preserves its memory through the historical model of the town as it was, kept by the Municipality: narrow streets, the church with its bell tower, the buildings with wrought iron balconies, the school, the gardens with pergolas, the small tower of the aqueduct. From this model and the period photographs, the virtual reality reconstruction created with TuristIA emerges: by wearing the headset, one can walk again through the streets of the vanished village.
