The most famous cove of the Egadi: no sand, but ancient calcarenite quarries overlooking water that shifts from turquoise to cobalt blue. The name comes from the blood of the naval battle of 241 BC that ended the First Punic War. You can reach it by bike through the dry stone walls, and descend from the rocks: water shoes and a mask are mandatory, with almost no shade.
