The Accascina Regional Museum of Messina is an Italian museum. Also known as MuMe, it is the largest museum in Southern Italy by total area. The structure spans a total area of about 17,000 m², surpassing even the Capodimonte Museum in Naples, which covers approximately 15,000 m². It is located in Messina, and until 2017 it occupied the premises of the former Barbera-Mellinghoff silk factory, a late 19th-century building, identified after the earthquake in 1908 as the museum's location.
