The Church of the Most Holy Name of Mary is located in the district of Pirrera, on the Island of Lipari. Dating back to 1589 at the behest of Bishop Martino D'Acugna, it was later expanded and completed in 1908 under the pastoral guidance of Canon Giovanni Paino, also thanks to the contribution of the Municipality of Lipari of one thousand lire.
