Museo Archeologico Ibleo — Ragusa

The Ibleo Archaeological Museum of Ragusa is located near Via Roma, specifically in Via Natalelli, attached to the northern end of the new bridge, on the first floor of the Mediterranean Palace, built in the late 1950s. Officially established in 1961, the exhibition was curated by archaeologists Vincenzo Cabianca, Antonino Di Vita, and Paola Pelagatti. The collection has expanded over the decades both through the acquisition of materials from new excavations and the transfer of various collections previously housed in Syracuse. The museum showcases the archaeology and ancient history of the territory of the province of Ragusa, from the Neolithic period to late antiquity. (Entry from the Italian Wikipedia page, CC BY-SA.
