The massacre of via Carini was a mafia action in which, on September 3, 1982, in the Palermo street Isidoro Carini, the prefect of Palermo and Carabinieri general Carlo Alberto dalla Chiesa, his wife Emanuela Setti Carraro, and the escort officer Domenico Russo were killed.
