The Terme della Rotonda are one of the numerous thermal complexes of Roman Catania. Built between the 1st and 2nd centuries, they are located a short distance from the Greek-Roman theater and the odeon. In the Byzantine era, on the ruins of the baths, the church of Santa Maria della Rotonda was built, which still preserves valuable medieval and Baroque frescoes inside.
