The Torre di Mezzo is a coastal defense tower located in the small village of Torre di Mezzo, within the territory of the municipality of Santa Croce Camerina in the province of Ragusa on the Mediterranean coast. Today, only a few ruins of the square-based tower remain, which underwent partial restoration in the years 1994/95. (Entry from the Italian Wikipedia page, CC BY-SA.
